statement

I am fascinated by the varying levels of communication within macro & micro communities. My process originates with ongoing observation, both in personal interactions and public situations. I then work within a set of parameters - distilling, interpreting and transforming these accumulated experiences into something more universal.

Working primarily in drawing and painting - consideration is given to line and form through the use of color and repetition. I currently employ acrylic paint, mixed media and a sewing machine in my studio.
